Use your Web browser to navigate to the CPUID home page. Click on the Software button in the navigation bar, and click on the icon labeled with CPU-Z. In the right section of the window, click on the link that points to the latest version of the utility, and click on the Download Now button.
Once the download is complete, double-click on the executable file, and provide system access to the setup file by clicking on Yes when a User Access Control prompt pops up. Accept the license agreement, select the desired installation folder, and click on Next to begin the installation.
Click on the Start button, and select the All Programs option. Click on the CPUID folder, click on the CPU-Z folder, and select the CPU-Z utility from the list. Click Yes when UAC prompt pops up. Wait until CPU-Z detects the system components, and click on the Mainboard tab. The entries in the Manufacturer, Model and Chipset fields should provide the information regarding the type of your motherboard.
