Google's Mobile Management provides a means to manage select mobile devices, while the Mobile Device Management for Office 365 program enables users to manage Office products in use by several mobile devices. Apple offers a mobile device management program for schools to manage the mobile devices of their employees.
Google's Mobile Management is available for Android, iOS, Windows Phone, smartphones with Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and select other devices. Mobile Management is chiefly for businesses and organizations to manage the devices of their members through configurations, allow and drop individual devices from the network, enforce device policies, access Google apps and see who connects to Google Sync, Android Sync or iOS Sync.
The Mobile Device Management for Office 365 works for iPhones, iPads, Androids and Windows phones and also provides device oversight for a group or organization. The manager can see individuals coming on and off the network, as well as being able to access device reports and to wipe devices from another location. The manager can open Mobile Management by signing in to the Office 365 admin center.
Apple's mobile device management program for schools enables managers to configure settings across the school, install apps and books, restrict certain settings and control Wi-Fi and email settings for faculty and students.
