Unlike traditional paper notebooks, OneNote allows users to add, shift and delete anything on its interface. OneNote is divided into notebooks, sections, pages and sub-pages. Users can create additional space whenever and wherever they need it. Users can also drag their entries into separate notebooks or sections for optimal organization. Headings can be attached to each section or notebook to divide the user’s OneNote into specific areas of interest.
All data stored in OneNote is transferable and customizable. Users can insert files or documents into their submissions or email them to friends and family. OneNote is also a hub for recording audio and video notes, which can be played back, edited or shared with other OneNote users at any time.
OneNote is included as part of Microsoft Office. It is also available as a separate application for Windows, Windows Phone, Mac, IOS and Android. The web-based version of OneNote is available as part of Office Online or OneDrive and allows users to edit their submissions through a Web browser.Learn more about Software
