New medical journals can be found on PubMed by clicking on the search button and searching by journal name, topic or author. The most recently entered journals are displayed first in the search results.
Medical journals on PubMed can also be found by searching by publication date or research grant number, which designates financial support from the Public Health Service or other funding sources. A search of clinical studies categories includes built-in filters to limit search results to research conducted with specific methodologies and applied clinical research.
PubMed search results show 20 items per page. As of 2015, PubMed has more than 58,000 searchable medical journals, and more than 25 million citations for biomedical literature.
