As of December 2014, Myspace is still active. The site re-launched in 2013 with a new focus on music and new features, such as MyRadio.
Company CEO Tim Vanderhook said in a 2013 interview with the Huffington Post that the site was attempting to return to what it was for artists in 2008, when it helped to launch the careers of Adele and Bruno Mars. The new MyRadio feature allows Myspace community members to create their own radio station and listen to radio stations put together by celebrities, such as Justin Timberlake and Lady Antebellum. The company changed hands from News Corp. to Specific Media in 2011.
