Search arrest records and corresponding mug shots provided by the Chicago Police Department by entering the detainee’s first and last names and CB number, charge, area, district and beat, if known. Select the charge from the drop-down menu. Click Search to see matching results after entering as much information as known about the arrest. Click the Reset button to clear the form and begin a new search.

After receiving a first and last name query, such as “John Smith,” and other information, the website presents a list of matches, listing each detainee by name with a mug shot. Other information listed includes the detainee’s current age, charge, and arrest date and time. Click on the Details box next to a detainee's listing to view a larger mug shot and find out more information about the arrest, including the arrest location and full list of charges. The Details page for each detainee also lists any information about the detainee’s release and release date, if applicable.
