NET10's service map depends on which provider the service plan uses, but, in total, its plans cover everywhere Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile offer service, as of 2015. However, individual service plans differ significantly.
NET10 doesn't own networks; it leases networks from other mobile providers. Because of this, subscribers to NET10 and its sister company, Tracfone, can rely on the expensive networks other companies have built. One disadvantage of NET10, however, is its inability to roam between different networks. Even though T-Mobile and AT&T both use GSM networks, NET10 plans don't allow the phone to switch between the two different networks, so users looking for the best in nationwide coverage might want to look for plans that offer roaming.
