As of November, some Android phone models released in 2015 include the Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Google Nexus 6P and Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 (5.5), notes CNET.com. CNET ranks these phones as among the best Android phones of 2015.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has features that make it very competitive to iPhone, notes Samsung.com. The phone has three gigabytes of RAM, a rear camera with 16 megapixels, a front camera with five megapixels and a 3.6-million pixel display. A 10-minute battery charge on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge provides approximately four hours of usage. The phone is available in three color options: white, gold and black. The Samsung Galaxy S6 is similar to the S6 Edge; major differences are a lower-capacity battery and straight-sided design rather than curved edges.
The Google Nexus 6P comes with three gigabytes of RAM and is available with 32 gigabytes, 64 gigabytes or 128 gigabytes of storage. Customers can choose from three color options: frost, graphite or aluminum. The phone has a high-resolution display of 5.7 inches and an eight-megapixel front camera.
