All Microsoft Office 2010 suites are compatible with Windows Vista, says Microsoft. The suites have been subject to extensive tests for compatibility with Windows Vista.
Both the 2007 and 2010 Microsoft Office suites were designed for Windows Vista. This makes them the best and most recommended Office versions for the platform. Windows Vista supports Office 2010 Professional Academics, Professional, Home and Business, Professional Plus, Standard, and Home and Business editions, according to Microsoft.
Although most of the mainstream support by Microsoft for Windows Vista ended in 2012, users will still benefit from the extended support that ends in November 2017. However, Windows Vista Compatibility Center, an online platform that helped users identify Vista-compatible programs, is no longer available.
