Seiki, pronounced SAY-key, is the Chinese electronics company that makes the Seiki branded line of TVs. Although largely known for its TVs, the company also makes other products, such as a line of audio products. Its U.S. corporate headquarters is located in Diamond Bar, California.
The original equipment manufacturer grabbed headlines in 2013 by offering a 50-inch ultra-high-definition TV for under $1,500, which is something of a feat considering big-name competitors like Sony normally price these TVs at least three times higher.
Seiki has received fairly wide distribution for its TVs. Kmart, Wal-Mart and Amazon are just a few retailers selling them. Its entire 2014 line of TVs are LED models; there aren't any LCDs as in the past.
