To make separate albums on an iPod Touch, place all desired photos in a new folder on a computer, create subfolders within the new folder, connect the iPod Touch to the computer, sync the iPod, and sync the photos. After the syncing process finishes, the photos albums are available for viewing on the iPod Touch.
To begin the process, create a new folder on your computer by right clicking on the computer’s desktop and choosing the Create a New Folder option. Name the folder, and then create subfolders within the new folder. After creating the subfolders, drag or otherwise move the photos into the desired subfolders.
Sign on to iTunes on the computer, and use a USB cable to connect the iPod Touch to the computer. Choose the device from the iTunes menu. A pop-up window appears indicating syncing for the device. Choose to sync the photos by clicking Photos, and then uncheck the Sync Photos From box.
This prompts you to select a folder for syncing the photos. Click on Choose Folder, and then locate the folder created earlier. Click on All Folders, and then click the Sync button to initiate syncing of the photos. View the photo albums on the iPod Touch.
