Make a screen capture by using the PrtSc keyboard command to take a picture of the image on the screen. Paste the picture into an image program to edit and save it.
- Take the screen capture
Press the PrtSc key, which is located in the upper right corner of the keyboard. This key is usually found just to the right of the F keys.
- Open an image program
Open a program that supports images. MS Paint is a good choice for bare-bones image editing, and it comes as standard on all Windows computers,
- Paste the image
Press the Ctrl+V keys simultaneously to paste the image into the program. Crop and resize as desired, then save it to the computer.
