The NOOK GlowLight is a basic e-reader that features a built-in reading light, a sharp E Ink display and a battery that lasts up to eight weeks on a single charge. The NOOK GlowLight comes with 4GB of storage capacity that holds up to 2,000 books. It weighs 6.2 ounces and has an 800 MHz single-core processor.
The NOOK comes in two larger models manufactured by Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 NOOK 7.0 features a 7-inch LCD display, front- and rear-facing cameras and built-in GPS. It includes a battery that lasts up to 10 hours and a 1.2 GHz Marvell PXA 1088 processor. Its memory is expandable by up to 32GB using a microSD card. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 lets users read books, view videos, browse the Internet and check email.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 NOOK 10.1 is the largest model and includes a 10.1-inch HD LCD display. It weighs 17.28 ounces and includes all the same features as the Tab 4 NOOK 7.0.
