Computer users choose to have laptops for a variety of reasons. Some are fond of them for their performance and flexibility, akin to desktop computers, whereas others appreciate their tablet-like portability.
Laptops come in a variety of models and specifications. Some are known as desktop replacements for their large displays, powerful processors and decent graphics cards. Some others are budget laptops that trim several features in favor of more affordable prices. Most laptops are powered by full-blown operating systems that are better suited for serious, productivity tasks. Tablets, in comparison, are not as flexible, offer fewer ports and have fewer compatibility support for peripherals.
