Log in to the Honeywell Total Connect system by inputting an email address and password combination through the company's online portal. Access the system by using the Total Connect 2.0 app through Apple's iTunes store, as of April 2015.
Create an online account by accepting Honeywell's terms of service and inputting personal information. Required fields for a Honeywell Total Connect account include an email address, password, name, address and three security questions. Then you receive an activation email that directs you to a link to click. After you create the account, type the email and password into the online portal, and then click the red Login button to access the Honeywell Total Connect features.
The Honeywell Total Connect Remote Interactive Services app, version 2.0, allows you to control your security system and connected devices within your home or business. The service also provides live, streaming video you can monitor on your mobile device. Connect devices to this service, such as lights, door locks, thermostats and cameras. The app automatically synchronizes itself with Honeywell's LYNX Touch 7000, 5200 and 5100 control panels that centralize the system's controls in your home.
Honeywell Total Connect also works with GPS trackers in vehicles. Find out where your vehicles go, or keep track of teenage drivers or elderly loved ones with this system. Receive text or email alerts when the vehicle exceeds speed limits or pre-set geographic boundaries.
