Users can log into a Belkin router's configuration page by entering its IP address into the address bar of a web browser and providing the correct password at the login page. The default IP address for all Belkin routers is 192.168.2.1, and the default password is a blank field.
If the login page of the Belkin router cannot be accessed at the IP address 192.168.2.1, users need to find the correct IP address for their router. One way to do this on Windows involves opening a command prompt window and using the "ipconfig" command. The correct IP address is labeled Default Gateway in the output generated by the command. On OS X Yosemite, Mac users can use the command "netstat -nr | grep default" in the terminal to obtain the correct IP address.
If a user cannot remember the correct password for logging into the router's configuration page and the default password does not work, the user must reset the router to its factory default settings by holding its reset button for 10 seconds. Resetting allows users to log in using the default password. Users with routers that were configured with IP addresses other than 192.168.2.1 must use the default IP address to access the router's login page after a reset.
