Find the locations of cellular towers in the United States by navigating to websites such as CellReception.com or AntennaSearch.com, providing information about your location, and perusing a list of cellular towers on the map. CellReception.com uses Google Maps to display only those cellular towers that are registered with the Federal Communications Commission, while AntennaSearch.com provides results for over 580,000 cellular towers, as of 2015.
On CellReception.com, type the name of your city in the first search filed, select your state from the drop-down menu, and click Go. Alternatively, select a city from the list at the bottom of the home page. When the map loads, use your mouse to zoom in and out, and move the map by clicking on it and dragging the mouse while holding down the left mouse button. Each cellular tower on the map is marked as a red pin. To filter the results, check the boxes next to the desired service providers or their ratings.
On AntennaSearch.com, type your street address, city, state and ZIP code in the appropriate search fields, and click Go. If the website shows multiple locations, select the one that’s nearest to yours, and click Process. The search process typically lasts between 30 and 180 seconds, depending on the cellular tower density in the selected location. Once the process is complete, click on the View Towers button.
