If you have an eBay account, log in and click on Sell from the menu on the top left. If you do not have an eBay account, you must set one up before you can begin to sell anything.
After clicking on Sell, you have the option of selling it yourself or sending it to eBay to have them sell it for you. Click on "Sell it myself." Enter the name of the part or a part number and click Get Started.
You must then select a category. After selecting a category, click "Continue." Additional categories can be selected for additional cost. In the fields provided, add more data, such as brand, where it is placed on the vehicle, where it was manufactured, if it is new or used and if there is a warranty.
There is the option of adding up to 12 photographs, but eBay requires a minimum of one photograph.
Then, a description of the part needs to be added. Describe the item fully.
Choose if you want to list it as an auction or at a fixed price. Select how long you want it offered for sale. Next, select payment and shipping options and determine shipping costs. You can offer free shipping, have the buyer pay a fixed amount or arrange for the buyer to pay the exact shipping costs.
