Other popular applications on the platform include three Google applications, which are Maps, Google Play services and Google Talkback, the TubeMate application, and the game application "Plants vs Zombies."
Aptoide's application page includes four different sections, which are the Editors Choice, Latest Apps, Featured App and Top Apps. Aptoide users can also use the provided Search Application box to look for specific apps according to inputted keywords. The marketplace lists over 410,000 applications, according to Aptoide's application page.
Aptoide was launched in 2009 as a project application to serve as a market alternative for applications built for the Android mobile operative platform. The company was incorporated in 2011 as a spin-off company under CM software. Aptoide allows various application developers, telcos, integrators and OEMs to build their own Android stores. The application also provides the store owners with management tools.
