Apple's Maps app for iOS is not able to give instant, real-time views of the street. The Maps app only offers static satellite imagery. These images are updated daily, but they cannot provide real-time views.
The only real-time data accessible through Apple's Maps app is traffic information. Traffic is represented as a series of dashed lines, varying in color and size depending on the severity of the traffic.
In 2014, Skybox was the only firm capable of providing real-time imaging of street views. In August 2014, Skybox partnered with Google with the intention of eventually implementing this feature into Google Maps. However, Apple has not announced plans to add similar features to its Maps app as of March 2015.
