The iPhone 5S is a smart phone in the seventh generation of Apple iPhones. It was released, along with the iPhone 5C, on September 20, 2013. Originally, it was available with 64 GB of internal storage, but as of 2015, only 16 and 32 GB models are available.
The iPhone 5S is similar to the iPhone 5 in many respects, although it includes a few upgrades. The phone boasts the line's first 64-bit processor, as well as an improved camera capable of recording video at 120 frames per second. The 5S was also the first iPhone to utilize TouchID technology, allowing a user to unlock the phone with a fingerprint scan.
