Apple provides user guides and other support articles for new iPhones on Apple.com. The user guide covers instructions for using basic functions, voice commands and the applications built into the iPhone.
To access the iPhone user guide and other similar articles, click on Support on any Apple webpage. Click on the iPhone icon, and select Using iPhone from the menu. Choose iPhone User Guide to see the general instructions. The extensive user guide lists all of the available instructions and information in sections and has a search tool.
The iPhone at a Glance provides details on the phone's hardware, such as the touch screen and buttons. Some of the features Basics covers are how to use the phone, change settings, connect to other devices, and secure the phone. The guide dedicates an entire section to Siri, the iPhone's automated personal assistant. Each application included with the new iPhone also has a separate section in the user guide.
