Customers can install Norton Security from the Norton website through their personal website accounts. Those already possessing Norton accounts simply need to log in to carry out the setup process, whereas new users can create an account. After logging in, customers arrive at a setup page to start installation.
The setup page brings up an Install On This Device window, where you can verify that you're installing the right product. If the product is right, click the Agree and Download button. Installing a new product entails entering a product key. A new product may not appear in the Install On This Device window; customers instead click on an Enter a Product Key button that is present in the same window.
Different Internet browsers have different indications for starting the download process. Internet Explorer has a Run button. For Firefox or Safari, click on either browser's top-right corner. This pulls up a list of download files. Search for the item you want to download, and then simply double-click the item. Chrome requires users to double-click the desired file on the bottom-left corner of the browser.
A User Account Control window may pop up. If this occurs, simply click Continue and follow the ensuing instructions.
