  1. Sign in to your Microsoft account

    Swipe in from the right side of the screen, or move your mouse pointer to the lower-right corner of the screen and then up. Tap or click on Settings, followed by Change PC Settings, then Accounts, and finally Your Account. Click on Connect to a Microsoft Account. Enter your username and password or create an account.

  2. Open the Store

    From the Start screen or desktop toolbar, click or tap the Store icon. If you need to access the Start screen, swipe in from the right side of your screen, or point the mouse to the upper-right corner, and move it down.

  3. Browse for apps

    Browse the featured apps in the store, or explore different categories. If you have a specific app or keyword in mind, type it into the search box.

  4. Install an app
