Verizon customers who want to log in to their My Verizon accounts need to have both their User IDs and passwords on hand to complete the process. Customers who want to register for an account need to have a 10-digit mobile phone number from Verizon to begin the registration process.
My Verizon is Verizon's online customer account portal, which provides various information and services, such as online bill viewing, online bill pay and paper-free auto-pay services. Customers can also connect their My Verizon accounts to their Verizon emails and manage both their calendars and contacts through one interface. My Verizon includes a section that displays the latest deals and upgrade offers that are currently available from Verizon. Customers can also use My Verizon to manage their accounts by adding a new device, assigning additional account managers, reconnecting a suspended service and changing their phone plans.
As of 2015, My Verizon is a free service and does not incur additional charges for either registration or continued usage. The My Verizon ID and password are also usable with other Verizon services, such as Verizon Cloud, Media Store, Verizon FamilyBase, VZ Navigator and Verizon Messages. Accessing My Verizon from a mobile device may potentially result in data charges, as stated on the Verizon Wireless website.
