Infinity Ward is located outside of Los Angeles at 15821 Ventura Boulevard in Suite 500 in Encino, Calif. This game studio was created in 2002 and was made up by developers who had worked on "Medal of Honor: Allied Assault" for the PC.
In 2003, Infinity Ward was acquired by Activision after the release of its first game, "Call of Duty." The "Call of Duty" game franchise, as of 2014, has grown to include 11 titles within just its main series alone. Originally limited to release on the PC, "Call of Duty" has also been ported and expanded for video game consoles and the Mac OS.
