As of 2015, some HTC Android smartphone models currently available in the market include the HTC One phones, such as HTC One M9, HTC One M8 Android variants, HTC One E8 and HTC One Remix, as well as the HTC Desire's family of phones, such as the HTC Desire 626 Series, HTC Desire EYE and HTC Desire 816. Other Android smartphone models sold by HTC include HTC Droid DNA, HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE and HTC EVO.
The HTC One M9 is the company’s 2015 flagship model, which directly competes with models from other top smartphone brands, including Samsung Galaxy S6, Apple iPhone 6 and LG G4. Released in May 2015, the smartphone comes with a 5.2-inch Super LCD3 touchscreen, 20-megapixel camera with sapphire camera cover lens and dual-LED flash, front-facing stereo speakers, 3 GB RAM and a 2.2-GHz Octa-core processor.
The HTC One family of phones are high-end smartphones that come with all-metal designs, dual front-facing stereo speakers and superior camera lenses. These smartphones are among the most expensive mobile phones currently available on the market, with the HTC One M9 retailing for $649 for an unlocked version, as of August 2015. On the other hand, the HTC Desire phones offer comparable performance for slightly more affordable prices, as they come with plastic bodies and slightly less powerful, but cheaper, components.
