The Home Depot service providers manage customer installation orders for products such as cabinets, floors, roofs, windows and water heaters. Companies that wish to become authorized service providers must undergo a qualification process. The businesses need to pay for background checks for the owners and employees as well as submit proof of trade or business licenses and general liability, automobile and workers compensation insurance.
