The Digital Storm Bolt II, Lenovo Erazer X510 and Alienware X51 are some of the best reviewed gaming PCs of 2015. The Bolt II and Erazer are full-size desktops with powerful Core i7 processors and Nvidia GTX graphics cards, while the X51 packs a Core i5 processor and a GTX 960 graphics card in a small form factor similar to a video game console.
The Digital Storm Bolt II is the most powerful PC among the top gaming PCs of 2015, with 16 gigabytes of RAM, a 1-terabyte hard drive and the powerful GTX 980 graphics card. The Lenovo Erazer X510 has the same amount of RAM and hard drive space, but opts for a less-powerful GTX 960 graphics card and a slightly slower 3.5-gigahertz Core i7 processor as compared to the Bolt II's 4-gigahertz Core i7. However, the Erazer is also less expensive than the Bolt II, as of October 2015.
The Alienware X51 is less powerful than either of the full-size desktops and only has 8 gigabytes of RAM, but is cheaper than either the Digital Storm or Lenovo machines. The console-like case of the X51 also makes it suitable for use as a media and gaming PC in a traditional home theater setup as well.
