The Jitterbug uses a 2.2-inch color LCD panel as the main display and a 1.3-inch color LCD as the external display. The phone comes with one gigabyte of built-in storage, a portion of which is occupied by the operating system. It does not feature expandable storage. It is compatible with hearing aids and has an M4/T4 rating, which means that it generates only a small amount of interference and that it is largely compatible with the hearing aid's telecoil.
The Jitterbug features a backlit keypad with big buttons and a bright color screen with loud, powerful speakers to be more user-friendly for older people. The phone comes with YES/NO buttons to increase the ease of navigation. It also features a 5Star button to call for help in emergencies and a voice dial to access contacts.
The phone has a lithium ion battery with a capacity of 1,000 milliampere-hours. It features patented built-in GPS technology. The camera on the phone shoots photos with a resolution of 1.3 megapixels. The phone supports Bluetooth version 2.1 and features Enhanced Data Rate, which allows faster file transfers. It comes with a standard 3.5-milimeter headphone jack and a universal micro-USB port. A pre-installed battery, a wall charger and user guides are included in the package.
