It is also possible to add minutes, texts or data to any plan for a fee.
To qualify for a Budget Mobile Lifeline plan, it is necessary to check on the requirements in the state of residence. In most cases, if a person qualifies for certain types of government assistance, the person qualifies for a Budget Mobile plan. Some of the government assistance programs that Budget Mobile Lifeline customers participate in include state low-income home energy assistance programs, Supplemental Security Income and food stamps. An individual can apply to the program on the website, but must reapply every year.
