The Nextbook 7-inch tablet features a capacitive touch screen and front camera, Google Android OS 4.4, Wi-Fi and MicroSD card compatibility, and an embedded Bookstore app. Despite having 1080p HD video playback, the tablet can run up to four hours on a full charge and 240 hours on standby.
The Nextbook 7-inch tablet comes with capacitive touch-screen technology that allows users to operate it more smoothly than most resistive touch screens. Featuring a resolution of 1,024 by 600 pixels, the screen offers crisp picture quality. It is also equipped with Google’s powerful Linux-based Android operating system. With an inbuilt Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, users of this tablet can browse the Internet quickly. The Nextbook also comes with a 16-gigabyte flash memory and 8-gigabyte onboard storage memory. When new updates are available, users are automatically informed courtesy of the tablet's new OTA capability.
The device is preloaded with the Bookstore app, which allows users to purchase eBooks online with no computer connection required. Additional apps include the Google Play Store, Astro File Manager and Office Suite Viewer. Its processor, the Cortex A9, has a speed of 1.0 GHz. Additionally, the tablet has a USB 2.0 port, Micro-USB 2.0 port and mini-HDMI port. Apart from the built-in audio chip and integrated audio speaker, the device has a front-facing 0.3 camera.
