The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs online My HealtheVet system allows users to view past and future Veterans Administration appointments, refill prescriptions, send messages and complete a health assessment. The online system is available to active duty service members and veterans, as well as their caregivers and dependents.
HealtheVet's Appointment feature allows users to view VA appointments for the previous two years. Information provided about each appointment includes the status, date, time and location. The Appointment feature also advises individuals if an X-ray or blood test is required prior to any future appointments. Individuals cannot schedule, change or make appointments using this feature.
Prescription refills are requested by clicking the Rx Refill link under the Pharmacy tab. Available prescription information includes the refill status, submission date and time, prescription number and medication name. Number of remaining refills and refill eligibility are also displayed for each prescription.
