The Gospel Library application's features include the ability to make notes, highlights and bookmarks as well as the ability to access library contents, instructional videos, search functions and communication options. The Gospel Library provides users with access to scriptures, curriculum texts and conference texts.
The instructional videos are available in version 2.3 of the app and on YouTube, and they cover such topics as getting started, annotating content and studying by topic. The library materials include scriptures and study aids; music, such as a children’s songbook and hymns; general conference; manuals, which include preach my gospel and teaching of presidents; gospel art images, audio recordings and videos; and magazines.
The Gospel Library app allows users to search books in the library. Search results are divided into categories, and each book contains sequential citations and appear as snippets with highlights of search terms. Gospel Library features notes and highlights that allow for annotation through tapping and holding in any part of the content. It supports annotations such as tags, links, notes and highlights, and users can back up these annotations through different devices using the LDS Account.
Users can also make and update their pages or paragraphs verses. Users can even sync these bookmarks with their LDS accounts. Lastly, users can download and install the latest version if they already have an older version.
