Some features of AutoCAD 2013 software are improved PressPull functions, point cloud support, cloud connectivity and language packs. This version was released on March 27, 2012, and it had a new welcome screen where users can learn about the new features, access the app store and open new files easily.
The PressPull feature in this version is quite flexible, as users can press or pull multiple objects at the same time by pressing the Shift key or using the multiple option. This version also features an updated point cloud dialog, which provides a preview of images and comprehensive information on the selected point cloud. When users select a point cloud, a ribbon tab with all the necessary tools appears. A new bounding box also appears, making it easier for the user to visualize the point cloud in three-dimensional space. The property palette also received an upgrade to include new properties, such as clipping and intensity.
AutoCAD 2013 introduced cloud connectivity through AutoCAD 360. This cloud-based service helps users to share and sync files, which makes it easier for them to access their files on any computer, on their tablet or on their phone. All users get three gigabytes of cloud storage for free, though subscription accounts get up to 25 gigabytes of storage.
