T-Mobile offers several family plans, as of 2015, the most affordable of which is the two-line plan at $80 a month. This plan includes unlimited talk, data and text on the T-Mobile network and up to 1 gigabyte of 4G LTE data for each line.
If a person needs three, four, five or six lines, the monthly price goes up by $10 for each additional line. For example, if an individual is seeking out six lines, the cost is $120 each month. However, adding additional data, including unlimited data for each line, is possible at an additional cost; it's also possible to add data to some lines, but not others. Some plans allow users to roll unused data limits into the next month. In addition, Jump! services, international services and Rhapsody unRadio have additional fees from $4 to $15 a month.
In addition to paying the cost of each line, people who are under contract with T-Mobile also have to pay taxes and fees. Customers who have chosen the T-Mobile equipment installment program must also pay a monthly device payment. If a person wants to switch to T-Mobile, but is still under contract with another mobile company, T-Mobile offers to pay for the cost of switching.
