When the Update and Recovery screen appears, click on the Get Started button under Remove Everything and Re-install Windows.

  2. Set up the reset process

    When the Reset Your PC screen appears, click Next. If the computer prompts for the Windows 8 installation disc or a recovery media, insert it. On the next screen, choose whether to reset only the one drive in which Windows is loaded or all the drives. Click Next. On the next screen, choose whether to completely clean the drives or just clean your files.

  3. Start the reset process

    On the Ready To Reset Your PC screen, click on Reset to begin the reset process. The process takes a considerable amount of time. To complete the process successfully, you can't turn off the computer until it finishes. Once the process has completed, the computer restarts automatically.
