One of the first large-button cellphones brought to market was the Jitterbug, released by GreatCall in 2006. As of 2015, GreatCall offers two large-button cellphones: the Jitterbug5, a smart flip phone with large buttons, and the Jitterbug Touch3, which features a touch screen with large text.
Other manufacturers offer large-button cellphones tailored to senior citizens and younger users. Very basic candy-bar phones equipped with only the most essential functions include the Kevenz KM300, Jethro SC118B and TTFone TT59. Flip-phone variants include the TTfone TT31 and Samsung T159. When set to "Easy Mode," the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime smartphone simplifies its home page and enlarges fonts and icons for better readability.
