Techno music can be made with just a computer and a digital audio workstation software such as the FL Studio. Formerly known as FruityLoops, FL Studio has been used to create electronic music hits such as "Silicone Lube" by Feed Me, "The Hive" by Deadmau5 and "Animals" by Martin Garrix.
Created by the Belgian software company Image-Line, FL Studio features a GUI that basically is a digital music arranger and mixer with pre-programmed beats, music samples, effects and a wide range of musical instrument sounds. The computer system requirements of the FL Studio 10.0 version includes Windows (32- or 64-bit) 2000 or later, 2 gigahertz processor, at least 1 gigabyte of RAM and 1 gigabyte of free storage space. Among the other DJs and musicians who use FL Studio are Avicii, Afrojack and 9th Wonder.
