How Do You Enable Cookies on Chrome?

Enable cookies in Chrome using the advanced settings in the Privacy menu. You can find the advanced settings on the Settings page from the menu button at the top of the Google Chrome Web browser.

  1. Open Google Chrome

    Open the Google Chrome browser. Wait for the home page to load.

  2. Locate the menu button

    Look for the menu button in the upper-right corner of Google Chrome. The menu button resembles three lines stacked on top of each other. Click the menu button to reveal a list of options.

  3. Open the Settings page

    Click the Settings link within the menu window. Wait as Chrome opens the Settings options in the same tab.

  4. Locate advanced settings

    Click the advanced settings link at the bottom of the Settings tab. Next, click the Content Settings button beneath the Privacy header. A pop-up window appears shortly after clicking the button.

  5. Enable cookies in Chrome

    Look under the Cookies section at the top of the new pop-up window. Check the bubble next to the first option in the list that reads "Allow local data to be set (recommended)." Click the All Cookies and Site Data buttons to manage and remove any cookies within your browser settings.
