Full Answer

DXF is a file format standing for drawing exchange file. Developed by Autodesk, it is used for computer-aided design files, such as AutoCAD documents. Since DXF is ASCII-based, it is compatible with more programs than files having the DWG file extension.

DXF1.com has four categories of DXF files available: Animals & Insects, Objects & Signs, Religious & Symbols, and Ornaments & Heraldic. To download a file, select a category, then choose any file from the options displayed. If looking for a specific file, click on Search Downloads at the homepage. In the page that appears, type the words to search, and select whether the words should be searched in titles or descriptions. If found, click on the desired search result, and download the file.

At SignTorch.com, click on Free DXF Samples at the Categories pane at the homepage. Click on the file you wish to download, and make sure you choose DXF format in the description page that appears. For FreeDXF.com, click on Free at the navigation pane on the homepage, select from the available options, and click the download link provided to download the free DXF file.
