To download Bing to your desktop, download the setup file for the Bing Desktop app from the Explore section on Bing.com, and install the app. Alternatively, navigate to the Download Center section on Microsoft.com, and download the latest available version of the app.
Open a Web browser, navigate to Bing.com, hover over the More option in the navigation bar and click on the Explore Bing link. Scroll down to the Tools, App & More section, and click on the Bing Desktop link. Click on the Bing Privacy Statement and Microsoft Services Agreement links to familiarize yourself with the information with which you automatically agree by downloading the app, and click on the Download Now button. Once the download is complete, double-click on the executable setup file, and follow the instructions from the installation wizard to complete the process.
If you can’t download the app via Bing.com, navigate to Microsoft.com, click on the Downloads button, type "bing desktop" in the search field, and click on the Bing Desktop link. Select the desired language from the drop-down menu, and click on the Download button. As of 2015, the app supports Windows XP Service Pack 3 and all Windows operating systems that Microsoft released up to Windows 8.1. Once you install the Bing Desktop app, restart the computer; the Bing homepage should replace the default desktop image.
