To download an app onto a Nabi tablet, open App Zone, select an app and tap the price button. Parents must enter a parental password to authorize the purchase so the download can begin.
Users who are not already signed into App Zone are prompted to sign in when they attempt to download an app. This involves entering the Nabi user ID and password. After entering the password, parents have 10 minutes to download as many apps as they want before they need to sign in again.
Before making any purchases in the App Zone, users first need to add their credit card information. To add credit card information to a Nabi account, open the App Zone and tap Account.
Problems downloading apps are often due to issues connecting to the App Zone. Nabi suggests clearing the data for the App Zone by enabling Parent Mode on the device and then tapping All Apps, Settings, Apps, All and finally App Zone. Choose the Clear Cache option and then tap Clear Data and Force Stop to clear all data for the app. After performing this troubleshooting step, open the App Zone again and try to download the app one more time. Nabi only charges the credit card used for the purchase once.
