While YouTube.com is the default home page of the website and automatically detects the user's location to offer related content, YouTube.ca takes the user to the Canadian home page. YouTube then recommends videos that are popular in Canada.
YouTube may remember the user's choice to connect to YouTube Canada. To change the country setting back to the worldwide version, scroll down to the bottom of the page, click on the Country button, and select Worldwide (All). Refresh the page to make sure YouTube saves the new setting. Users from the United States see the worldwide home page by default.
You can also see if YouTube displays a local home page by looking at the logo at the top left of the page. Local home pages have two-letter abbreviations next to the logo.
