To delete PC Cleaner Pro, start the computer in Safe Mode, go to the Control Panel, click Add or Remove programs, select PC Cleaner Pro from the list, click the Uninstall button to uninstall, and then restart the computer in normal mode. This procedure is effective on Windows XP.
Turn off the computer and restart it, tap the F8 key immediately when the computer beeps, and then move the arrow keys to select Safe Mode located under Advanced Boot Options. Press the Enter key on your keyboard to activate Safe Mode.
Click Start and then locate the Control Panel on the left hand side of the Windows menu. Alternatively, Windows 7 and Windows Vista users can type ?Control Panel? into the Windows search bar to access the Control Panel. On Windows 8, users can drag the pointer of the mouse to the right corner of the screen, choose Search from the list and then type ?control panel? into the search box.
To successfully remove PC Cleaner Pro, any recent software that has been installed without the user?s consent must also be removed. The list of recently installed software is located on the right hand side of the Control Panel, under the Installed On category, and arranged based on the date and time of installation.
