To delete games on a computer, click Start, select the Control Panel, and then select Uninstall a program under Programs in Windows 7 and Vista, or click Remove in Windows XP. Select the specific game from the list, and click Uninstall. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall the game.
Some games also come with an Uninstall option found in the original folder of the game. Click the Uninstall icon from the location of the game, click Yes on the new window if prompted, and then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
Alternatively, to remove pre-installed Windows games from the Games folder in Windows 7, click Start on the Windows task bar, go to the Control Panel, and click Turn Windows Features On Or Off, under Programs. Click the plus sign located next to the Games folder, clear the check box next to the specific game you want to remove, and then click OK. Provide the password or confirmation if prompted to complete the process.
To prevent other people from accessing the game without removing it from the computer, type “games” into the search box on the Windows menu. Select Games Explorer from the search results, right-click on the specific game, and then select Hide This Game.
