  1. Open Internet Explorer

    Open the Start menu by pressing the Windows key, and type “Internet Explorer” in the search field. Click on the Internet Explorer result in the Programs section.

  2. Open the organizer

    Click on the star icon next to the settings button, and click on the arrow next to the Add to Favorites option. Select the Organize Favorites option from the drop-down menu.

  3. Delete the favorites

    Click on the New Folder button, type in the name for the temporary folder, and press Enter. Click on a favorite, and click on Move. Select the newly created folder, and click OK. If some of the favorites are located inside other folders, open them, and drag each favorite individually to the new folder. Once you transfer all the favorites, click on the temporary folder, and click on Delete. If you only want to remove specific favorites, hold down the Alt key, and press C. Click on the Favorites tab, right-click on a favorite, and select the Delete option. Do this for every favorite you wish to remove.
