  1. Download and install PowerISO

    Open a Web browser, and navigate to the PowerISO website. Download the program to your computer, and double-click the ".exe" file, a file type that launches programs, to run the installer. Follow the instructions to install the program, and open PowerISO after installation.

  2. Import the ISO file

    Navigate to the ISO file in the Downloads folder or on your desktop. Right-click the ISO, and choose to open it with PowerISO. Alternatively, drag and drop the ISO file onto the PowerISO window to open and view the contents.

  3. Insert a blank CD

    Open your optical disc tray, and insert a blank disc. Close the tray, and close any prompts for burning the CD.

  4. Create a bootable CD

    Click the CD icon in the PowerISO menu bar to burn the ISO to disc. Select Automatic as the burning speed, and click the Verify checkbox to ensure the burning process goes smoothly. Click Burn, and wait for PowerISO to create your boot disc.
