Creating an Apple Store account can be done through Apple's official website. An Apple Store account is linked to a user's AppleID, which also logs them into services like the Game Center and the App Store.
To create an Apple ID, navigate the Web browser of either your computer or your mobile device to Apple's website. Click the "Store" tab near the top right of the screen. Then, look for the profile emblem, which appears as a silhouette inside a circle on the top left side of the screen. Clicking this emblem opens a drop-down menu with a link titled "Create an account" located the bottom of the menu. Following this link brings you to a form asking for your name, security information and desired username and password. Complete the form by inputting the Captcha security code at the bottom of the page and pressing create AppleID. The chosen username and password can then be used universally to access all of Apple's online services.
Users can also create an AppleID through the Apple Store app on their iPad or iPhone. After downloading and opening the app, users will be prompted to input their AppleID. At the bottom of the prompt window sits a link to "Create an account," which leads to an identical form as the first method.
