The cut function, which removes a snippet of text and saves it to the clipboard, is performed by selecting the desired text and pressing the CTRL and X keys simultaneously. It can also be performed by selecting the desired text and then right-clicking and selecting Cut from the menu.
The copy function, which copies a snippet of text but does not remove it from the original text, is performed by selecting the desired text and pressing the CTRL and C keys simultaneously. Like the cut function, it can also be performed by right-clicking and selecting Copy from the menu.
The paste function is used to insert text from the clipboard that has been either cut or copied. To use the paste function, set the cursor in the desired area and press the CTRL and V keys simultaneously.
